a silent world
the deaf hear
a melody of love!
......................
a melodious night
this moonlit tree
a wind instrument!
.....................
serenades with love
caresses the keys
unlocks a melody!
.....................
sunrise and sunset
a symphony of birds
who wrote the melody!
.......................
who needs the meaning
even when you say nothing
your silence does sing!..

These are all wonderful, but I especially like the second stanza, and I love the idea that a tree is a wind instument! Well done~
ReplyDeleteThese are like cameo glimpses of the many faces of music.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Four excellent responses to the theme.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous! The tree as wind instrument is super. Thanks for these.

Wonderfully romantic!
ReplyDeleteI like them all - but the tree is my favorite.... it invokes not just the music of sound for me but also the visual music of beauty. All wonderful responses to the prompt.
ReplyDeleteReally like that second one. (As a didjeridu player, especially. :-D)
ReplyDeleteThe second poem is wonderful-- I have never thought of a tree producing melody.
ReplyDeleteI love the last one best.
ReplyDeleteEach one is lovely and melodious!
ReplyDeleteAll of these are melodious but the second one replays in my mind as I love trees and hearing the wind singing making their limbs dance is one of my favorite melodies.
