indurated

shining in the shops
hearts of indurated clay
come valentine's day

something is melting
the layers of hardened earth
a fragrance of rain ..

~ _ ~ _ ~

trembling / HB - 5

a wall collapses
hands tremble with disbelief
the berlin season

is this not winter
the memories brightly burn
a trembling stillness ..

  1. Wonderful, all of them! The second one was my favorite because it had such an effect on my senses: touch, smell, sound. I could hear and smell the rain as if I was there.

  3. I have read these a few times - each time gaining a deeper meaning. On the surface, my mind sputters, and then as I become still, I feel a vibration...

    This was wonderful...
