fading memories

a war in gaza
so many innocent kids
become memories
...........................
beyond memory
your electrical impulse
running through my veins
...........................
as dusk fades away
filled with the verse of sunshine
a page of the earth
.........................
if it's amnesia
and my consciousness forgets
this being would feel you
.........................

  2. Oh, that electrical impulse that take memory beyond the words we form in our imaginations and straight into our souls.

  4. This group shows memories from so many different points of view. The first is heartbreaking but my favorite is the last one.

  5. Oh wow! Talking about a bird's eye view, looking through prisms. You nailed it, over and over again.

  6. your last one speaks to my own sense that memories are never really completely gone, but on some level we hold onto them, especially love

  9. Oh, these were all so beautiful...the last one resonated so deeply! Our brains may forget, but our souls forever remember.

  10. Terrific work! They each resonate with a portion of individual memories. The third one is a novel take on the book of earth. Nice.

  12. I guess I'm not going to say anything original when I say that I truly feel that last one. Thank you.
