folly

nothing else but you
elevated consciousness
the rest is folly!
..................
suffering from aids
unaffordable treatment
this folly does kill!
.....................
people die in wars
the dealers of arms prosper
thriving on follies!
....................
simply patenting
civilizational heritage
for trade is no crime!
.......................
two lifetimes don't earn
what's lost on a vegas night
the wisdom of man!
..........................
just to keep alive
die innumerable deaths
life ain't no folly!

    Mankind does manaage to find all too many follies. Some consequences are far more painful than others. Thank you for these.
