bleeding

no bleeding
the wounds, a gift
the hurt drips on
[may24.08]
.........................
the being a pen
the ink's sorrow
bleeding words a song
..........................
such white bridal robes
bleeding mad eyes
see a lady in red
..........................
the sea of dusk
a fiery red drop sinks
for whom the cosmos bleeds
..........................
the heart's white roses
i send as love
are bleeding red for you!
_/(message on a bouquet of red roses)/
.............................
parting a nightmare
yearning a dream
bleeding a reality..
[may22.08]
..............................
this quiet bleeding
from the pain of others
in your heart a Christ! /original/z.g.
..........................

  1. Silently bleeding for the pain of others is the image of ultimate compassion. I like the juxtaposition of red and white in these.

  2. "for whom the cosmos bleeds" - Instantly I thought of Hemingway's novel title "For Whom the Bell Tolls"! And somehow that connecting illusion works so well into your poem!

    Nice write!

  4. Zoya, I am totally in love with the last poem. It is SO powerful for me, so meaningful. So much of what I have been thinking about the past few weeks.
