the ruins reminisce
of age old magnificence
a myth resurrects!

possibly the truth
if it's uncomfortable
label it a myth!

the television
a myth or reality
the editors know!
............................
is it black magic
or just something in her eyes
that is killing me!
.........................
civilization
when you are gone and finished
will your Gods remain?

    I ponder things like that last one a lot. Ever read any of Terry Pratchett's Disc World fantasy (and so much more) book series? The many varieties of deities there survive -- maybe in diminished form -- as long as they have any believers in them. Hm....
